Fairly clean property, welcoming and nice staff. Exceptional and satisfactory breakfast with local specialty food for all tastes. Marvellous central location, next to the R1 cycle route and the city square. Nearby Cosmo Lounge - great place to chill out👍

The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Detmold, just a few minutes walk away from the town centre, yet on a quiet street. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the attention to detail was impressive - especially in the well-equipped bathroom. The breakfast was nice, with a good selection of food in the buffet. this hotel provided great value for money and had all the basic amenities we needed.
The only downside we experienced was that the lack of air conditioning made the rooms a bit too hot at times.

Always stay here, no regrets. Staff helped me find local dining on first visit. Place suits me perfectly: Free Wi-Fi, parking, outdoor dining, snack bar, laundry, flat-screen TV. Hiking, cycling nearby. In-room breakfast, cots, wheelchair access. Coming back for New Year.

Great breakfast selection with local specialties and friendly staff. Spacious and comfortable room, with easy-to-use fridge for drinks.
Room temperature was always too hot, with no AC available. Bugs and spiders entered the room through open windows.
